Fish & Seafood Research Project Summative

20% of your final mark
Due on, or before, June 17th

Fish and The Planet: A Research Report

Whenever we consider a protein source like fish, chicken or other kinds of meat, we really should look at both how it effects a menu, AND also look at how it effects the planet. In this project you will do just that. Creating a report, you will research the effects of fish consumption on the planet.

Types of report you can choose from:

* 3 page essay
* on-line presentation (website/powerpoint/blog).

The following are required tasks for this project:

1. Determine three kinds of fish or seafood you will examine for your report (e.g. salmon, halibut, trout)
2. Complete the online form about your fish
3. Complete the on-line form analyzing any alternatives to using your fish
4. Collect 3 recipes that use your chosen fish and enter that information here
5. email me directly to get all of your work back (done in the above on-line forms) so that you can:
6. Hand in your final report

      let’s chat tomorrow about this. Fresh is basically anything living in a lake or river, salt is anything living in the ocean.

      you can use either

      blogger.com
      or
      wordpress.com

      otherwise, just a paper copy of your work will suffice.
