Culinary Tourism Project

culinary tourism project rubric

Ontario is a vastly dynamic province in Canada. Lately, there has been a real up swelling of work being done to encourage people who live in Ontario to explore their province more. It’s better for the environment because we don’t need to get in a plane, and in makes for a healthy local economy when we spend our money in our own province. Culinary Tourism is one really effective way of encouraging people to drive to different areas in our province to eat a meal, buy produce at a market, take a cooking class, etc.

In this project you will work independently to produce a brochure for one of the 12 culinary tourism hot spots in Ontario. Here’s a list of the 12: Grey Bruce, Fergus Elora, Niagara, Durham, Northumberland, Norfolk, Ottawa, Toronto, Peterborough/Kawarthas, Muskoka, Prince Edward County, and Stratford.
