Winter Menu: February – April 2010

Breakfast
8:15 (or there abouts) – 11:00 am

EVERY morning during this winter menu we’ll have the following items available to order:

Müesli Cup 3.25
our very own cereal made weekly with honey, pumpkin seeds, oats, dried currants and cranberries with a dollop of our freshly made yogurt and a healthy spoon of Ontario maple syrup.

The C-Punch 2.25
10 ounces of fresh cut orange and grapefruit sections. . .cause it’s winter, Man! And we need to keep up our vitamin C!

Fresh Smoothie 2.50
fresh ’cause we make the yogurt! smoothie ’cause . . . its pureed with fruit!? 12 ounces of the stuff anyway.

Every MONDAY we also welcome you to try:

A Madeleine 1.00
a shell-shaped Parisian treat made with honey and almonds. . .Madeleine Monday! See here for more info

Every TUESDAY:

Cinnamon Bun 1.85
baked that morning, these fresh little treats are hand made and iced

Every WEDNESDAY:

Cardamon Coffee Cake 1.75
rich slice of this flavorful cake topped with a sweet, orange-zested butter

Every THURSDAY:

Apple Fritter 1.50
Ontario apple spiced fritter

Every FRIDAY:

Financiers 1.85
a mini Parisian cake made with brown butter and almonds. See why its called a financier here

    I love the cafe but do you have an actual plan in advance for lunch and if so can you put it on the website so if there is something I’d like to try I’ll be sure not to bring a lunch. Instead of bringing something and going I would have rather had that.

      Hi Kaitlyn,

      We do have a 2 week cycle menu and it is posted on our cafe page. We do our best to stick to it, but reserve the right to change it the morning of to accommodate any needed changes.

      That being said, we’ll be changing the menu again for the spring, starting in April.
